Non-surgical facelift in Paris

A non-surgical facelift (or medical facelift) firms and rejuvenates the face without a scalpel or general anaesthesia, using simple injections. Hyaluronic acid, Sculptra and Radiesse smooth wrinkles, fill hollows and restore the facial oval by stimulating your own collagen — for an immediate, natural result with no downtime. In Paris, Dr Vincent Hunsinger offers this tailor-made rejuvenation for moderate skin laxity, as an alternative to a facelift.

01Medical facelift in Paris: who is it for?

A non-surgical medical facelift is for anyone who wants to avoid the burden of general anaesthesia, the scars and the recovery of an operation, while getting back to their activities with no downtime. This anti-ageing treatment is particularly suited to:

  • women and men with moderate ageing (generally from their forties onwards);
  • cases of hollow temples with drooping of the tail of the eyebrows;
  • cases of fat ptosis: loss of cheekbone fat causing sagging, hollow under-eyes (tear trough) and a marked nasolabial fold (marionette lines);
  • to redefine a facial oval weighed down by jowls;
  • to soften the marionette lines at the corners of the mouth.

The aim is to recover refined features, a rested look and the V-shape of the face, by correcting the “inversion of the facial triangle”: over time, the volumes of the upper face (cheekbones, temples) melt away and slide downwards (jowls). The medical facelift restores these volumes where they are missing.

02Hyaluronic acid, Sculptra and Radiesse: the products used in a medical facelift

The non-surgical facelift relies on two families of products, often combined and always dosed with restraint for a natural result:

Filling products, with an immediate effect:

  • hyaluronic acid (Voluma, Juvederm, Restylane…): a natural, hydrating and plumping molecule that fills wrinkles and hollows from the very first session; often combined with botulinum toxin to relax expression lines.

Collagen biostimulators, with a gradual and lasting effect:

  • Sculptra: based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), it does not fill directly but boosts the production of your own collagen around the micro-particles, which then dissolve; volume is restored naturally and gradually. It is particularly indicated to recontour the cheekbones and hollow temples. The result generally builds over 2 to 3 sessions and can last up to around 2 years — longer than hyaluronic acid.
  • Radiesse: based on calcium hydroxylapatite (a natural constituent of bone), injected as microspheres that trigger neocollagenesis; it fills wrinkles and redensifies the skin while stimulating collagen.

The choice of product and treatment areas is decided during the consultation, according to your face and the result you are looking for.

04How the procedure works

01

Before the procedure

It all begins with an in-depth conversation with the doctor, who is committed to natural rejuvenation without excess. After analysing the causes of your facial ageing, he draws up a tailor-made treatment plan (products, areas, number of sessions) and a quote. The injection-based medical facelift requires no heavy preparation; it then takes place at the practice, in a single session of around 30 to 45 minutes.

02

During the procedure

The session is carried out under local anaesthesia (numbing cream, and lidocaine contained in the filling products) for a virtually painless procedure. The treatment is performed across the whole face, from top to bottom, using blunt-tip cannulas that limit the entry points and protect tissue and vessels:

  • filling of the under-eye hollows and recontouring of the temples to rejuvenate the eye area;
  • cheekbone enhancement (Radiesse, Sculptra) correcting the nasolabial fold and the tear trough;
  • filling of the jowl hollows and redefinition of the jawline to restore the facial oval.

Duration 30 to 45 min Anaesthesia Local (cream or lidocaine)
03

After the procedure

The result is immediate and natural: the face looks instantly more rested and refreshed, and you return to your activities with no downtime. Mild swelling or bruising may appear but rarely lasts more than 48 hours. The final result is assessed at around 15 days, with a follow-up consultation allowing any touch-ups. It lasts 12 to 18 months with hyaluronic acid, and up to around 2 years with Sculptra, before a maintenance session.

05Prices & fees in Paris

Procedure Aesthetic fees
Non-surgical facelift – hyaluronic acid 700 – 1 600 €
Non-surgical facelift – Sculptra 700 – 1 200 €

Indicative “from” prices, surgeon fees included. The final quote is given at the consultation, after examination, depending on the area treated and the technique chosen. Part of the procedure may be covered by French national health insurance when the medical criteria are met.

06Your questions

How much does a non-surgical facelift cost in Paris?+

Expect around €700 to €1,600 depending on the products (hyaluronic acid, Sculptra, Radiesse), the areas treated and the number of sessions. The breakdown is set out in the quote provided during the consultation.

What is Sculptra and how long does it last?+

Sculptra is a collagen biostimulator based on poly-L-lactic acid: it does not fill immediately but boosts the production of your own collagen. The result builds over 2 to 3 sessions and can last up to around 2 years, longer than hyaluronic acid.

How much does a Sculptra session cost in Paris?+

Expect around €700 to €1,200 per Sculptra session; a full protocol often involves 2 to 3 sessions a few weeks apart. The precise quote is drawn up during the consultation.

Hyaluronic acid or Sculptra: which one to choose?+

Hyaluronic acid immediately fills a targeted wrinkle or hollow and lasts 12 to 18 months. Sculptra works deeper by stimulating collagen, for a gradual, overall rejuvenation that lasts longer. The two are often complementary.

Injection facelift, HIFU or thread lift: what is the difference?+

There are several approaches to the non-surgical facelift: injections (hyaluronic acid, Sculptra, Radiesse) restore volume and stimulate collagen; ultrasound (HIFU) and thread lifts act mainly on the tightness of the skin. At the clinic, the preferred approach is the volumising medical facelift by injection, the best suited to age-related volume loss.

Is a non-surgical facelift painful?+

No: the procedure is virtually painless thanks to the local anaesthesia (cream and the lidocaine contained in the products) and the use of fine blunt-tip cannulas.

Is there any recovery or downtime?+

No: you return to your activities straight away. Mild swelling or bruising is possible at the injection points but usually fades within 48 hours.

From what age should you have a medical facelift?+

It is mainly aimed at signs of moderate ageing, most often from the forties onwards, but the ideal moment depends on each face and is determined during the consultation.

How many sessions are needed?+

A single session is often enough with hyaluronic acid. Sculptra generally requires 2 to 3 sessions a few weeks apart to let the collagen rebuild.

Does a non-surgical facelift replace a surgical facelift?+

It is ideal for mild to moderate laxity. In cases of significant skin laxity (marked excess skin), only a surgical facelift provides a lasting correction.

Are the results natural?+

Yes, that is the whole point: volumes restored with restraint, “the French way”, for a rested face without a frozen look or excess.
