Learn more →Aesthetic medicine brings together the techniques that correct the signs of ageing and harmonise the face and body contour without surgery or general anaesthesia: hyaluronic acid and Botox injections, non-surgical facelift, skin treatments, volume reshaping. At Rive Droite Paris Étoile, in Paris 17e, Dr Vincent Hunsinger favours natural, gradual results within a measured approach.

Learn more →Aesthetic medicine is the non-surgical alternative to plastic surgery: procedures performed in the office, without an operating theatre or general anaesthesia, and most often with no downtime. It can smooth wrinkles, restore volume, tighten the skin or refine the body contour, with a natural, gradual result.
Injections are at the heart of aesthetic medicine. Botox injections relax expression lines (forehead, frown lines, crow’s feet), while hyaluronic acid fills wrinkles and restores volume (cheeks, lips, under-eye hollows). Without a scalpel, the profile can also be reshaped: non-surgical rhinoplasty, non-surgical chin augmentation and jawline contouring to redefine the oval of the face and the jawline.
To tighten loose skin without an operation, several technologies work together: the non-surgical facelift, micro-needling radiofrequency Morpheus 8 and Renuvion J-Plasma, which stimulate collagen production for a gradual tightening effect.
Cryolipolysis (CoolSculpting) destroys localised fat deposits with cold, without an incision, while HYAcorp increases buttock volume by injection, a gentle alternative to surgery.
The radiance and texture of the skin are maintained through facial mesotherapy, chemical peel and the HydraFacial treatment, which hydrate, exfoliate and revitalise the complexion.
Aesthetic medicine works on the surface and gently: no incision, light recovery, a natural but temporary result that needs maintaining. Surgery, on the other hand, treats significant laxity and excess on a lasting basis. The two approaches are not opposed: aesthetic medicine can often delay a surgical procedure, or extend and refine its results. The role of the physician is to recommend the right intervention — neither too much, nor too soon.
Everything begins with a consultation with Dr Vincent Hunsinger, in Paris 17e, who assesses the request and draws up a personalised treatment plan. The session then takes place in the office, lasting from a few minutes to half an hour depending on the procedure. An anaesthetic cream or cold is generally enough to ensure comfort. In most cases, activities can be resumed immediately, with any redness or bruising subsiding within a few days.
Results appear immediately (hyaluronic acid) or gradually over a few days to weeks (Botox, tightening technologies). They are temporary: the effect of Botox lasts about four to six months, that of hyaluronic acid from six to eighteen months depending on the area. One reassuring point: hyaluronic acid is reversible — it can be dissolved with a hyaluronidase injection if needed. These medical procedures must be performed by a physician, with approved products, and not during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Prices are set per session or per treated area and are specified during the consultation, depending on the procedure and the amount of product required. As aesthetic medicine is purely cosmetic, it is not covered by French national health insurance. A clear quote is provided before any treatment at Rive Droite Paris Étoile.
Aesthetic medicine is performed without surgery: injections, lasers, tightening technologies, with no general anaesthesia or downtime. The results are natural but temporary. Surgery treats significant excess and laxity on a lasting basis. The two are often complementary.
Discomfort is mild and brief. An anaesthetic cream, cold or very fine needles are enough to make hyaluronic acid injections and Botox very well tolerated.
It depends on the procedure: Botox works for about 4 to 6 months, hyaluronic acid 6 to 18 months depending on the area. Tightening technologies (Morpheus 8, non-surgical facelift) give a gradual effect that lasts several months. Regular maintenance preserves the result.
Yes. This is one of its advantages: in the event of an unwanted result, hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with a hyaluronidase injection, which makes it a particularly safe procedure when performed by a physician.
There is no single age: some preventive procedures can be considered from your thirties, others address more pronounced signs. The key is a personalised assessment during the consultation to recommend the right procedure, without excess.

In most cases, yes: you can return immediately. Slight redness or bruising may appear after an injection and is easily concealed; it disappears within a few days.
